spending less doesn't mean your wedding has to look "cheap"
This cute couple met via an online dating app. David couldn't believe Linda was real, she seemed too good to be true. After finally convincing David that she wasn't a catfish, Linda flew down from Mackey to Brisbane to meet David; they knew they were the ones for each other. David was a full-time student at the time, so he and Linda had a very modest budget for their wedding: less than 3K total! Yet, nothing felt cheap. How'd they pull it off?
They got ready in their own homes; their venues were free. We were able to take these stunning photos at a lovely friend's private property in Springwood. Lots of elements were DIY or something borrowed: the flowers, the decorations etc. Friends eagerly pitched in to help make things happen beautifully. This wedding goes to show that a little can go a long way when beautiful, generous friends are there to support you. With doing over six years of wedding photography, these moments and captures are still some of my all-time favourites.
